PEAC is the Primary Extension And Challenge programme, offered to students in year 5 and 6. PEAC is held at Busselton Senior High School.

All students sit a test in year 4. The top 2% of students will be invited to attend the PEAC program. Schools are also asked to nominate students who would benefit from the extension program. These students are called TAG (Talented And Gifted) students.

In the PEAC program students come to the high school every second week for one day a week. The programs on offer are: Forensics, Animation, Web design, Robotics, Art and Engineering to name a few. Most courses incorporate philosophy and the use of higher order thinking tools.

Teaching in PEAC is focussed on creative and critical thinking. We also teach students to make inquiries and question the world around them. Without questions there are no answers.

Learning is hands on and student centred.

The PEAC program starts at the end of term 1 and finishes at the start of term 4, with an Expo displaying the work of all the students.
